Jun 17 Thu 2013 SONY Screens MEATBALLS 2 Clips for Tots

Sony had an exciting party for key critics of its children's movies on Thu Jun 27, in the big screening theater of its flagship East Coast skyscraper at Madison and 55th St. The five to eight year old experts and their moms came at 3.30pm for a presentation of sequences from the new Meatball 2 movie coming in September, and as far as we polled all thought it was even better than the first Meatballs movie.

The event proved once again that where the childless might suppose that teeny tots might be frightened by scary things such as hamburgers with legs made out of French fries who scampered sideways like crabs or spiders, on the contrary, the vegetable monsters which figure large in this latest screen version of the long time children's book favorite thrill and delight these expert reviewers.

The tea party afterwards was equally thrilling with its vegetables like celery and melons given eyes and gaping mouths and the opportunity to have a photo taken and placed by a computer amid a scene from the show..

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2
Animated Comedy
September 27, 2013
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 picks up where Sony Pictures Animation’s 2009 hit comedy left off. Inventor Flint Lockwood’s genius is finally being recognized as he’s invited by his idol Chester V to join The Live Corp ompany, where the best and brightest inventors in the world create technologies for the betterment of mankind. Chester’s right-hand-gal - and one of his greatest inventions – is Barb, a highly evolved orangutan with a human brain. It’s always been Flint’s dream to be recognized as a great inventor, but everything changes when he discovers that his most infamous machine (which turns water into food) is still operating and is now creating food-animal hybrids – “foodimals!” With the fate of humanity in his hands, Chester sends Flint and his friends on a dangerously delicious mission – to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders and other food creatures to save the world again!
