Press preview for The Met Breuer, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new space dedicated to modern and contemporary art on Madison Avenue at 75th Street in Manhattan. Inaugural programming includes: the exhibitions Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible, exploring the question of when a work of art is finished, with over 190 works dating from the Renaissance to the present, and Nasreen Mohamedi, the first retrospective of the artist’s work in the United States; and Relation: A Performance Residency by Vijay Iyer, a series of continuous performances in the building’s Lobby Gallery.
